Online presence playbook for a product-based microbusiness

Customers need to understand what the product is, which option fits, what it is made from or includes, how fulfillment works, and what happens if there is a problem.

Help the right customer find the business

Use consistent product names, categories, variants, availability, and first-party destinations. Describe materials, dimensions, compatibility, customization, lead time, and geographic availability only as verified for the actual product.

Build trust with evidence and clear limits

Use accurate product photography and label illustrative context. Explain production, care, shipping or pickup, returns, and important limitations. Do not manufacture reviews, scarcity, provenance, sustainability claims, certifications, or performance outcomes.

Create a usable next step

Keep selection, variant availability, fulfillment timing, shipping or pickup, taxes or fees, confirmation, and support visible at the appropriate point in the purchase path. Test variants and mobile checkout without treating a cart addition as a completed order.
